Behemoth regresa con su decimotercer álbum de estudio, 'The Shit Ov God', una obra que encapsula la esencia más cruda y desafiante de la banda polaca. Desde su provocador título hasta su meticulosa producción, este disco se presenta como una declaración audaz en el panorama del metal extremo.

El líder de la banda, Nergal, ha expresado que eligieron deliberadamente un título provocador, rechazando la sutileza en favor de una declaración directa y polarizadora. Este enfoque se refleja en la portada del álbum, que presenta una versión invertida del Christogram "IHS", simbolizando una inversión de lo sagrado y una confrontación directa con las convenciones religiosas.

La producción del álbum estuvo a cargo de Jens Bogren en Fascination Street Studios, conocido por su trabajo con bandas como Emperor, Enslaved y Rotting Christ. Frontman Nergal has stated that they deliberately chose a provocative title, rejecting subtlety in favor of a direct and polarizing declaration. This approach is reflected in the album's cover art, featuring an inverted version of the Christogram "IHS", symbolizing a subversion of the sacred and a direct confrontation with religious conventions.

The album's production was handled by Jens Bogren at Fascination Street Studios, renowned for his work with bands like Emperor, Enslaved, and Rotting Christ. Bogren managed to capture Behemoth's inherent ferocity without sacrificing sonic clarity and depth, delivering an intense and immersive listening experience.
